Acquia Heads to DrupalCon Dublin to Promote Drupal 8 Adoption and Innovation

DrupalCon is the gathering place for thousands of Drupalists from around the globe who use, develop, design, and support the Drupal platform.

“The Drupal community reached new heights with last year’s release of Drupal 8, and the community continues to grow and thrive,” Buytaert said. “At Acquia, we are deeply committed to providing training and resources to help Drupal users drive innovation, and to fuel the pace of adoption. We are excited to announce two new Acquia Certification exams that are available to take at DrupalCon Dublin. I look forward to connecting with the Drupal community and sharing perspectives on Drupal today and what we can expect in the years to come.”

Drupal 8 was the result of the work of more than 3,000 Drupal contributors. It features hundreds of new breakthrough capabilities including a modern development framework, a reimagined usability and authoring experience, and advanced multilingual and mobile functionality. With Drupal 8, organizations can now innovate at scale and deliver the most engaging digital experiences with speed, security, and flexibility. Acquia experts will host 20 sessions centered around Drupal, sharing top tips, tricks, and insights on the latest trends in open source. Featured sessions include:

In addition to these conference sessions, attendees will also be able to earn an Acquia Certification credential at DrupalCon Dublin. Two new exams are now available to attendees — the Drupal 8 Site Builder and the Drupal 8 Front-end Specialist. The following exams will also be available to take at DrupalCon Dublin: Acquia Certified Developer – Drupal 8, Acquia Certified Developer, Back-end Specialist, Front-end Specialist, and Drupal Site Builder. As a DrupalCon-exclusive offer, free retakes will be offered onsite.

Partners and partner prospects are invited to Acquia’s Partner Summit on September 26 to gain insight into Acquia’s product roadmap and hear from key Acquia executives including Tom Erickson, CEO, Joe Wykes, SVP of Global Channels & Commerce, and Bryan House, SVP of Worldwide Account Management. Attendees will also benefit from the opportunity to connect with local Drupal shops and global digital advertising agencies and learn strategies and best practices for building a technical center of excellence.

The conference will take place at the Convention Centre Dublin from September 26-30. Acquia is a diamond sponsor of DrupalCon Dublin and will exhibit at stand No. 601. Attendees looking for answers to support and technical questions are encouraged to stop by the Acquia stand’s ‘Query Lounge.’
