ProducersWEB.com Announces New Member Ranking System

ProducersWEB.com, a product of Summit Business Media, has announced new changes to its member ranking system giving more incentive to interact with other members.

Currently, members are ranked solely based on the number of followers they have. Now, under the new ranking system, members will be rewarded for multiple types of site interactions. Actions that will be rewarded include:

  • Posting content and comments
  • Sharing links
  • Following a company
  • “Liking” content

These actions will move members up in the site rankings, giving them more exposure and rewarding them for becoming an active member of the ProducersWEB community.

“We’ve been tracking the online activity of our community for some time; activity which continues to grow, and now includes blogging, posting events, sharing news and much more,” said Jeff Schottland, founder and Director of Business Development at ProducersWEB. “As a result, we felt it was appropriate to rank the activity of members by their total contributions to the community, versus only how many followers they may have. Our new point system enables us to achieve this.”

In the new ranking system, members with the highest rankings will have their picture and a link to their profile on the homepage of ProducersWEB.com. The homepage will include the fastest climbers and the top ranked individuals over time. For more information on ProducersWEB.com please contact Jeff Schottland at jschottland@producersweb.com.
