Vuzix Brings Award-Winning M100 to AT&T Developer Summit 2014

Vuzix® Corporation (OTCQB: VUZI), a leading supplier of Video Eyewear and Smart Glasses products in the enterprise and consumer markets, today announced it will be showcasing the award-winning M100 smart glasses during the AT&T Developer Summit Hackathon, to be held January 6, 2014 at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The AT&T Summit Hackathon sponsorship complements Vuzix’ entry into the market with the M100 smart glasses/wearable computer. Vuzix began shipments of M100 units to developers and enterprise customers earlier this month. As a sponsor of the event, Vuzix will be providing two of its M100 smart glasses as main prizes and will be promoted on various social media platforms surrounding the event.

The AT&T Summit Hackathon is the premier hackathon of the year for the AT&T Developer Program. This year will be focused on wearable technologies and participants will be able to choose between a Wearables Track and an AT&T API Track. Finalists from each track will be featured in live fast pitches on stage with executives during the keynote at the AT&T Developer Summit. In addition, competitors will also have the ability to complete in accelerator challenges, which will offer prizes ranging from a Vuzix M100 to up to $10,000 for eligible teams.
