“EMA Radar for Enterprise Network Availability Monitoring Systems (ENAMS) Q3 2014” recognized AccelOps for its rich ENAMS capabilities. The company’s flagship product, AccelOps 4, was highlighted as a multifunctional, cross-domain management solution designed to address the unified infrastructure management needs for both the enterprise and Managed Service Provider (MSP) sectors. AccelOps was also singled out for its ability to directly incorporate technologies such as cloud and virtualization.
EMA defines ENAMS to include network-centric monitoring solutions used by enterprise network operations and engineering teams to discover, monitor, assess, troubleshoot and manage medium to large enterprise networks. For this EMA Radar Report, specific focus was placed on core capabilities and features that address network operators’ needs to ensure health and availability of the network, as well as the overall practitioner experience in procuring, deploying, administering, and using specific ENAMS products.
AccelOps delivers the industry’s only integrated software platform to monitor security, performance and availability across all aspects of the IT infrastructure, whether on-premise or in the cloud. Based on patented distributed real-time analytics technology, AccelOps automatically analyzes and correlates behavior patterns spanning servers, storage, networks, security, users and applications to rapidly detect and resolve problems. AccelOps works across traditional data centers as well as public, private and hybrid clouds.
“Networks are the circulatory system of today’s enterprises, delivering the applications and services that are essential for business processes and success,” Frey said. “Job one for network operators is to make sure that the network is up, available and healthy at all times. AccelOps has done an excellent job of building a strong, unified platform combining networking, server and security management with a rich set of relevant features.”
Specifically, AccelOps 4 was recognized for:
- Its unified platform combining networking, server and security management on a single platform;
- Achieving the maximum possible score for high-availability features and configurability;
- Building out a rich set of relevant features;
- The largest range of choices for hypervisor platforms (including VMware, Microsoft and Red Hat) over any other ENAMS in the study; and
- Being one of the only ENAMS vendors to demonstrate enterprise cloud deployments.
The combination of wide support for hypervisors and VM-based deployment packaging was unique enough that EMA gave special recognition to the AccelOps solution for “Most Flexible Deployment.”
AccelOps also rated very well in terms of discovery functionality, alarm correlation/suppression, and fault isolation and troubleshooting. AccelOps also received gold stars and the highest possible ranking for overall customer satisfaction.
“We’re honored to have the value we deliver to customers recognized as the Most Flexible Deployment, as well as a Strong Value in this EMA Radar report,” said Flint Brenton, AccelOps president and CEO. “AccelOps remains committed to innovating in ways that help our customers deliver exceptional service and create competitive advantage. It is gratifying to receive industry acknowledgment of the strength of our products that bring security and unparalleled visibility to IT staffs of all sizes.”
