ViaWest has further strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Jason Nance to the position of Senior Vice President of Sales. With nearly 20 years of sales and leadership experience and a strong background in the tech sector with expertise in managed IT services, colocation, cloud and disaster recovery solutions, Nance is poised to help ViaWest further solidify its position as a leader in the Hybrid IT Solutions space.
Nance is responsible for the management and direction of the ViaWest sales organization, including driving sales strategy and building solid customer relationships, as well as helping customers design and build custom Hybrid IT Solutions to fit their business needs and goals. He is based in Dallas, with responsibility for sales growth across all of the regions ViaWest supports.

Nance joins ViaWest from SunGard Availability Services, where he served as Senior Vice President of Sales and was responsible for sales strategy and supporting new product and service launches. He played an instrumental role in the company’s expansion, including its 2014 spinoff from SunGard Data Systems. His experience also includes work in the financial services sector, where he sold treasury and risk management software to the Fortune 1000. Nance earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Nance joins ViaWest during a period of strong growth. In 2015, ViaWest added two new data centers in Portland, Ore. and Calgary. The company also acquired AppliedTrust earlier this year and announced plans this month to acquire INetU. Collectively these moves strengthen ViaWest’s Hybrid IT service offerings and expand its geographic footprint.
