Time Warner Cable Names David Flessas Senior Vice President, Technical Operations

Time Warner Cable today announced that David Flessas will join the company as Senior Vice President, Technical Operations. He will report to Gerald D. Campbell, Executive Vice President, Technical Operations, and will be based in the company ‘ s Herndon, Va. office. Flessas will be responsible for managing the company ‘ s technical operations supporting the delivery of high-speed data and telephone services.

“ David ‘ s telecommunications career spans more than 25 years, during which he has developed extensive expertise in multiple network functions that are critical to the deployment of lifeline telephone service and other telecom offerings, ” Campbell said. “ His experience and insight will benefit Time Warner Cable and our customers. ”

Flessas joins Time Warner Cable from Sprint, which he joined in 1983 and where he was most recently Vice President, Interconnection Solutions in Sprint Network Services. He was responsible for all aspects of Sprint ‘ s VoIP phone service provided through cable company partners and was involved in numerous operational functions supporting Sprint Business Solutions and Consumer Solutions, including domestic and international voice, data, wireline and wireless. Flessas started his career with Wisconsin Bell and later worked for Ameritech and Carolina Telephone before joining Sprint. He holds a Bachelor ‘ s degree from the University of Wisconsin and a Master ‘ s of Business Administration degree from Marquette University.
