TapRoot Systems Inc., a leading developer of software for the smartphone market, announces Sean O’Leary has joined TapRoot Systems’ executive team as Vice President of Business Development and Marketing for Carrier Technologies. Sean will lead TapRoot’s WalkingHotSpot business development and marketing efforts into mobile operators.

Mr. O’Leary has an extensive background managing both sales and marketing teams for venture backed start-ups and Fortune 500 corporations. Named as one of Triangle Business Journals 2003 Top 40 under 40, in recognition of his corporate and community accomplishments, Sean has held executive positions with international and industry leaders such as Cisco Systems, Good Technology and Motorola
