HPTi Named Family-Friendly Workplace

High Performance Technologies, Inc., (HPTi) is pleased to announce that it received a 2010 CARE (Companies As Responsive Employers) Award, which recognizes outstanding companies that provide family-friendly workplace policies and benefits. The CARE Awards are presented by Northern Virginia Family Service. This is the fourth consecutive year that HPTi has been honored with the CARE Award.

“HPTi clearly continues to demonstrate its commitment to providing a workplace that caters to the needs of working families and improving the work/life balance so important to both families and employees,” stated Mary Agee, president and CEO of the CARE Awards.

“Our people are at the core of our business,” stated HPTi CEO Tim Keenan. “Creating a workplace that encourages a good balance of work and home life means we are recruiting and keeping the best talent available. The CARE Award is a great measure for us to ensure we are providing competitive benefits to our employees.”

Since 1992, the CARE Awards have identified the best places to work in Northern Virginia. The program was established to recognize companies that are leaders in providing family-friendly benefits and helping employees maintain a healthy work and life balance.

Some of HPTi’s family-friendly workplace policies and benefits include Metro check, parking subsidy, telecommuting, and a laptop purchase program.
