Cloud Adoption Assessment Model Key To Implementation Success

Dimension Data, the $5.8 billion global ICT solutions and services provider, announced today that its Vice President of Enterprise Services, Americas, Jim Hirt, will present at the Wall Street Technology Association (WSTA) Cloud Computing – Shift from Proprietary Business Models seminar, taking place on February 28 at The Yale Club of New York City.

Hirt’s session, “It’s a Cloud Journey: Cloud Readiness Workshop Analysis“, which will begin at 10:35 a.m., will help financial services organizations examine where they are on the cloud maturity/readiness continuum. Specifically, attendees will receive insights on using a cloud analysis model to evaluate:

  • Infrastructure readiness
  • Workloads and use cases
  • Organizational change and business alignment

The WSTA seminar will focus on today’s most pressing issues related to Wall Street firms’ adoption of cloud services, including the end user experience, security, commodity clouds, assessing pricing models and private vs. public clouds, among others. The WSTA, founded in 1967, is a not-for-profit educational organization that focuses on technologies, operational approaches and business issues for the global financial community.
