Cardlytics , a provider of targeted, card-based, merchant-funded rewards technology, was named a finalist in two award categories and CEO and founder Scott Grimes won the award for “Technology Innovation” at the TechAmerica 2009 Southeastern “Spirit of Endeavor” Awards.
The company and its executives were nominated in five of six awards categories. Lynne Laube, COO and co-founder, was nominated for “Outstanding Leadership.” In addition to winning the “Technology Innovation” award, Grimes was nominated for “Technology Entrepreneur.” Cardlytics was named a finalist in the “Emerging Business” category and nominated in the “Cool Technology of the Year” category.
The Cardlytics executive team is known for innovation in the banking industry, especially with regard to debit programs. Grimes and Laube invented decoupled debit while serving as senior executives with Capital One. Additionally, Grimes is a frequent speaker on the subject of payments innovation.
