L Street Video Channel Debuts on Capitol Communicator

The communications issues associated with the health care debate comprise the first show of L Street, a video channel that begins today on the Capitol Communicator network of Greater Washington. Produced by Fleishman Hillard , L Street will feature discussion of news from the perspective of communications practitioners with a particular focus on government. Critiquing strategies, outlining their implications and addressing the use of traditional and newer communications tools will be regular features on the channel’s monthly shows.

“There is a substantial number of public affairs and other communications professionals that serve federal and local governments around Washington, D.C., and they need a resource that helps them deal with the nuances they face,” says Paul Duning, co-founder of Capitol Communicator.

L Street is one of three channels on Web-based Capitol Communicator, which hosts the channel on its Insights tab. The social media platform also offers Capitol Communicator Television with its thought leadership series, and another video feature with news about communications firms and individuals. Other offerings include the SourceBook directory for communications professionals to highlight their personal brand and that of their organizations, job postings and a weekly email summary of news about the communications industry around Washington, D.C.
